A girl who wants to do something for the first time, often, so she will!

I have a passion and respect for firearms. Due to that, in my lifetime, I have come across some pretty impressive pieces: Glock (several calibers), Bullpup Shotgun, HK 45 USP Tactical, 300 Blackout AR pistol, S&W .44 Magnum, Kimber Scorpion 1911, IWI Tavor and a Mosin Nagant Sporter, to name a few :) Curious as to how? My husband is ex Military. Army. I use the work EX loosely here because you're never really out. I also have family who hunt and love steel. My husband and I have shared in our admiration for guns for almost 13 years, but he more than I. Understandably. He has his concealed carry and I currently do not. He currently carries a sweet piece that he customized with a grip and his holster is amazing. It's a Zacchaeus.
Since I currently do not have a concealed carry, Hubbs decided to get me a Kimber PepperBlaster II, grey. It's pretty dope! He even bought a holster for me :) The Kimber PepperBlaster II has the same revolutionary non-aerosol pyrotechnic delivery system as the original PepperBlaster, plus an ergonomic grip and sights for increased accuracy. A superior ingredient formulation combines a powerful solution of 10% OC (2.4% capsaicinoid content) with benzyl alcohol for viscosity. Delivery speed of 112 MPH keeps blasts on target, reducing the risk of blowback or drift. At just 4.2 ounces, PepperBlaster II is state-of-the-art protection. This thing is highly effective! Why do people carry? There are many answers to that question. Equally high in number are the types people decide to carry. I carry pepper spray for self defense. Self defense is defined as the deliberate use of physical force for protecting yourself or loved ones from physical harm. It's a subject that just about everyone considers at some point in their lives. Pepper spray is a very effective tool for evading attackers of any sort, no matter their motives. Arming yourself with a self defense device like pepper spray is an easy, inexpensive, and effective way to stop yourself from being harmed. I carry my spray on a belt beneath my coat. Experiment until you can quickly draw the spray, raise it up, and shoot it in one fluid motion. It's also very important to mentally rehearse exactly what to do in case you need to use the spray. Practice against an imaginary assailant until you're comfortable with your ability to use the spray fast and effectively.
